If you, as we, enjoy walking/cycling/skating/using public transport around town:

Metro

The nearest Metro stations are Manors and Jesmond. We are about a 10 minute walk from both.

Bus

Bus number 1 stops directly outside our building. And numbers 15 & 15a also pass close by.

Bike

If you arrive by bike you can safely park and lock it inside the building.

Walk

Approx. 12 minute walk from city centre.

Parking

Free parking for visitors with disabilities in our car park.

The Star and Shadow has ramp access to most spaces including the cinema, venue, projection booth, workshops and toilets.  There is also a changing places toilet

Star and Shadow is a member of the Kino Climates network of alternative screening spaces in Europe. Is is also a member of the Radical Film Network.
