Filmed
in the deserted area North of Lima, this film tells the adventures of
three characters as they leave their town. El Inca is an old wrestler
with no place
in this world, La Boba is a waitress at her father’s road restaurant in
the middle of nowhere and does not want to live without love, and El Hijo
del Ladrón wants to escape his name. Practically robbed of their
proper names, the title characters of this film flee from the fate that
has been imposed upon them. On their respective journeys, their
morality, tenacity and integrity are tested, as they defy the stigma of
their names, trying arduously not to succumb to
self-fulfilling prophecies.
