FILM: We are not like them (2013, dir. Declan Clarke)

This is a new artists' film reflecting on the decline of industrial Europe and modernist utopian ideals, in which an agent traverses the continent trying to unpick an elusive, enigmatic mystery. Filmed in four locations across western Europe, including Newcastle Upon Tyne, the film is a silent poem for an era which has passed, and the visual language and ideals it has left us.
