A showcase evening for three brand new and very different bands hailing from the 'toon' itself. Expect three bands aiming to use their music to win over you're affection in a bid to raise their profile in the local music scene.

Amphora

Female Fronted hard rock band. Catchy, anthemic and unique with plenty of gripping hooks and riffs.

Shark in Venice

A non-barbershop quartet from Newcastle with Danny Williams on guitar, Gary Cass doing singing, Jake Clark on drums and Alex Jackson on the bassing guitar. Playing rock and coming for your ears and money very soon.

Velvoir

The brainchild of vocalist /ambassador of androgyny Verity Jasmine Bee… The band have cultivated their own sound which is firmly rooted in Rock and blends the gritty honesty of blues with the brutal intensity of punk, the cerebral possibilities of 60's psychedelia and the rhythmic 'mojo' of funk; This, when coupled with a unique aesthetic (Newcastle Upon Tyne's only androgynous front-person ) makes for an experience that is difficult to forget.
