DJ TLR - From West Coast of Holland, head honcho of Creme Organization and emissary of the Global Darkness returns to the NE2 and the Star & Shadow after a long hiatus.

Expect a blistering night of Sturm und Drang as he is joined by Creme Organization label artiste and regular Berceuse Heroique & The Trilogy Tapes contributor Ekman who will take us on a live journey beyond the far reaches of the Acid Planet.

Creme Organisation was founded in 2001 by TLR and borne out of the 90s DIY, squat scene of West Coast Holland. Along with Bunker Records, Viewlexx & Clone Records Creme represents a unique and highly influential creative force that has emerged over the last 2 decades from the Netherlands.

Creme’s roster of producers over the years have included the many guises of Danny Wolfers & Legowelt, Orgue Electronique, Bangkok Impact, Rude 66, JTC, D’Marc Cantu, Traxx, 2AMFM, DJ Overdose, Neville Watson and Alexander Robotnick to name but a few. More recently it’s released cuts from ASOK, Simonico, IVVVO, Jorge Velez, Ekman, Wille Burns, XOSAR and Lake Haze. Creme’s expanded universe includes Creme Eclipse, Jericho One and the excellent clandestine R-Zone series. 

Many labels and artists would not exist today without Creme Organisation/TLR - to say it's influential would be a massive understatement. No amount of superlatives, exhausting of the dance music lexicon or cut/paste from 1988 Daily Mirror Guide to Nightclub Music will do Creme or TLR justice.

He played at the Star & Shadow’s former home on Stepney Bank many times over the years for the Road to Rimini cohort and we’re happy to have him back at Star & Shadow v2.0
