During the last festival we never got round to giving the cinema that lovely 90's fresh minimalist look that is expected of cathedrals of culture like the Star and Shadow, so why not come along now and help take things to the NEXT LEVEL YO!DEAR FRIENDS
In the lead up to the Great Depression in the late 1920's, the Carter
Family sung a classic folk spiritual "I'm working on a building."
To celebrate approximately the 80th birthday of that song*,
p-p-p-poignantly p-p-p-poised as we are with the prices of fuel and rice
going up everyday, we invite you to help us continue the work on our
building, [our, meaning all of ours], so we are having a second BUILDING
FESTIVAL

MEALS PROVIDED - EXTREMELY SOCIABLE ATMOSPHERE GENERATED THROUGH DELICIOUS COOKED MEALS AND SPECIAL ENTERTAINMENTS

Yep, so we are going to do some crucial amendments to the building and do
an interior design makeover, all in one week. We did it before in 2006, and
50 folk came from all over the continent to hang out and build and we
managed a cinema between us.
Come and do the same again and make it into a REALLY BEAUTIFUL PLACE. we
all know it is a little bit grubby (even though today was operation deep
clean) but it is time to move onto level 2, we just need to beat the baddy
and work really hard for 1 week.
If you want to help by cooking, email me; if you want to help with basic
basic joinery, email me, sewing, email, painting pictures or just walls,
email, Ebaying all the crap in the office, send me an email.
All skills welcome, email me or turn up on the day, but preferably the
former, so we can schedule it perfectly.
