A night of world party music with the excellent band Soznak, geographically based in Newcastle but musically based somewhere between Africa, Latin-America and Europe!
Soznak plays rhythmic party music from all over the world.
At the core are a driving rhythm section of drums, bass, keyboards, guitar, congas and timbales and a brass section of trumpet trombone and saxes.
The Soznak emphasis is...varied: Funk, Jazz, Latin Middle- Eastern (yes!), Spanish , Caribbean and Afro-Cuban fusions. Their very special melodies and enthusiasm will raise your spirits!
