An exciting music night from a legendary music label...

Slampt was started by Pete Dale and Rachel Holborow in 1992, in Newcastle.

The "Label" (they prefer to call it an arts umbrella) was fervently DIY throughout its 8 year existence. Beginning with fanzines and cassetes they spread out to 7'' singles, LPs, CDs and a thick A4 zine called Fast Connection. As wellas regular local gigs there were 60 releases on the label including Yummy Fur, Kenickie and Red Monkey.

They are staging a night celebrating the 8 years with zine displays, live music from the DIY scene past and present and the premiere of the newly re-edited "Slamptumentary".

Bands start at 5pm sharp till late...
