The Star & Shadow - home to the North East's finest Italo-Disco club night, Road to Rimini - brings you one final big bang send off before its annual hiatus during August in the form of yet another masterful club night!

The only night in Newcastle to play this kind of music, we’ll be playing music for you do dance your flip-flops off to, inspired by New York disco in its many different forms, from the dreamiest New York disco to the danciest basslines, including David Mancuso, Larry Levan, ESG, Arthur Russell, Mutant Disco, Post Punk and much more.

Featuring Phipps and Patrick from local legends Road to Rimini, with other DJs.This is also your last chance to visit the Star and Shadow before it goes on summer holiday until September!

So, if you like dancing, and you want something refreshing and a rest from your usual indie rock nights or even from the wonderful Italo-Disco nights that Newcastle has to offer, then come down and discover the lost and oft forgotten sounds of New York disco.

There's also a treat for those of you wishing to start the night a little earlier. If you attend Seripop at the Baltic on the same night, you get reduced entry to our night - only £3.
