San Francisco all-girl three-piece Brilliant Colours boast a gritty and ultra colourful type of euphoria via past post-punk greats like Josef K or Black Tamborine. Clocking delightfully in under the two-minute mark, these jangly pop jams are incessant and full and on Vivian Girls-style guitar distortion. Support from London’s similarly scruffy La La Vasquez and ramshackle indie locals O’Messy Life.

PRMNT VIBES & STAR & SHADOW PRESENT A DOUBLE BILL OF EXOTIC POP

San Francisco all-girl three-piece BRILLIANT COLOURS (http://www.myspace.com/brilliantcolorssanfrancisco) boast a gritty and ultra colourful type of euphoria via past post-punk greats like Josef K or Black Tamborine. Clocking delightfully in under the two-minute mark, these jangly pop jams are incessant and full and on Vivian Girls-style guitar distortion.

London (via Brighton) three-piece LA LA VASQUEZ (http://www.myspace.com/lalavasquezband) blast similarly scruffy pop with. With releases on the likes of Captured Tracks and Twin Girl records, their pop renewal is distinct and explorative, seeking out lost hooks and weird cardigan twee as much as skewed American culture ie Log Lady/Twin Peaks and fast food.

Ramshackle indie locals O'MESSY LIFE (http://www.myspace.com/omessylife) channel Pavement as much as Neutral Milk Hotel. Their latest track is like some grunge sea-shanty and I kind of can't get over how catchy it is, practically as much as anything from The Blue Album.

DJs + other fun TBC as well!
