Like peers Oneohtrix Point Never, James Ferrro and Matrix Metals, Stellar OM Source explores the synthetic feelings of isolation created by harsh old Yamaha synthesizers, working predominately with looped arpeggios and slow burning chord grooves that seep out subtle rhythms that could almost be from some distant Detroit.

Elsewhere her loops bring more to mind Brian Eno, Ryuichi Sakamoto, or Klaus Schulze. Gualdi’s is a dynamic vision, built upon after recently playing shows (with plenty of lasers) in the USA with the likes of Nite Jewel, Ducktails and Cold Cave.
