Newcastle’s Urban Geisha is an artist in many senses of the word. Having made her name over the years as an exceptional DJ, playing an infusion of acid breaks, grime, dubstep, electro, experimental electronica and rock (to name just few), she has recently taken on new elements of performance. As an artist and vocalist she is skillfully fusing eclectic ideas from many genres, incorporating poetry, movement and art in her theatrical appearances.

She currently collaborates with electronic band Jonstun to showcase live sound that mixes atmospheric electronics with soulful vocals and distorted guitars. Their first “Soulshaker EP” is available for download on iTunes.

Funsize Jonny has been playing in around the North East at clubs, pubs, bars, free parties and raves over the last 10 years. At the likes of Cause and Effect, Freaky Dancing, Subway (not the shop), Arcane, Detox, Byker raves etc. Playing with the likes of Phil Hartnoll (Orbital), Altern8, Njoi, Ellis Dee and Radioactiveman to name just a few. As a lover of electronic music -especially the old rave scene and early electro - he loves to play analog music for raving and for his own personal listening. His set will incorporate electro breaks old and new, italo,Dutch Electronix, techno and electronica but not necessarily in that order...He will be playing a party set of all kinds ;) See u at the front!
