Pale Man Made release their double A-Side single 'B-Line/Started in 1966'.
The single, released on Tiny Lights Recordings, is the first UK taster of the fuzzy girl - boy pop which lies within their forthcoming album 'Red Box Secrets'.
Think the best Scottish twee pop (The Pastels, The Shop Assistants, Orange Juice) blended with a dose of the ferocity of The Wedding Present,
all clouded by a gentler take on the heady fuzz of My Bloody Valentine and The Jesus and Mary Chain.
The band will be joined by The Union Choir and special guests.
The Union Choir are an entourage of likeminded musical types who are determined to prove that there’s more to South Shields than David Milliband’s chin. Imagine Broken Records, The National and viva-hate era Morrisey, all pantomiming the same clues in a game of audio Charades.
Plus Popklubb DJs.
Note that the evening commences at 7.30pm with a screening of NE New Music Videos - watch the top North East bands new music videos on the big screen. Including Pale Man Made's new egg smashing, horse bashing video for B-Line.
