Apostille is the electro-ecstatic solo project from Michael Kasparis of A Glimpse Of Paradise favorites Please & Night School Records. Insistent flickering beats hold down a sturdy framework for Kasparis' clouds of echoed vocals and keyboard cluster quests; his voice soaring above the music and hanging there like an apparition. 

Other times, the cloaked music surges forwards, bouncing between distorted handclaps, wonky basslines and oblique incantations to delirious and wondrous effect

BASIC HOUSE is the solo moniker of Opal Tapes founder Stephen Bishop, who produces wonderfully textured and esoteric takes on electronic music, using what sounds like a digital cement mixer to churn out some very tasty, weirdo dancefloor shlop. ‘Let the petri dishes yield what the dance floors can not’ – quite!
