Ceylan is from Ayrshire in Scotland and said of herself that 'She wanders around the place, singing songs and telling filthy jokes'. She has supported MartinCarthy and provided backing vocals on Trembling Bells' September is the Month of Death. She is/has played with a range of bands but recently has been part of The Forgotten Works who played the Star and Shadow in January. Her style has evolved further and she is now making more use of loops and varied instruments tagged as ethereal beautiful and new weird Caledonia. Complemented by Vanity Ward two Newcastle art students and musicians who have their own take on beautiful new folk.
