Captivated by his charisma and musical verve, the filmmaker follows the Gypsy Punks of New York's notorious Gogol Bordello, Eugene Hutz, on his trip back to native Ukraine.
The idea for the film originated during a drunken 2 hour car journey with Eugene to a film festival in Karlovy Vary. The film and the the story it tells starts with footage taken during this drive with a hand-held camera.
A must-see for fans of Gogol Bordello and gypsy music. A great watch for anyone else!
