Cutting Edge is an Art Exhibition to protest the emphasis on cutting the arts in education. The policies of the Con-Dem government threaten art and culture, in their attempt to prioritise business and science and cheapen the humanities. Arts and culture are not only important in education but in society as a whole. This exhibition will bring together people from the community to defend our culture. We are holding an art competition, with all of the pieces submitted making up the exhibition. Anyone is free to enter a piece of work, in any medium they wish to use. There are several sub-categories for the competition: - Protest against cutting the arts. - Education. - Propaganda. - Best representation of Cameron/ Clegg.
