A film about the inspired and inspiring herbalist Juliette de Bairacli Levy.

Juliette was born in Manchester 1912and died in Bergdorf (ch) 2009.

She spent most of her life travelling (with her children in tow) and living with gypsies Bedouin and Native Americans pursuing both her love of the earth as represented by its herbs and flowers and her love of life.She lived with intensity passion and practicality which is captured both in the film and in her voluminous writings.

Her books constitute a complete herbal and floral law, not just in respect of knowledge and recognition of plants but also of their preservation preparation and storage. Juliette of the Herbs captures the heart and spirit of a pre-eminent herbal practitioner and author of the twentieth century.
