Set in Nottingham, WEEKEND follows the story of two guys, a one night stand and how their relationship blossoms over a single weekend. It has been compared to Richard Linklater’s Before Sunset/Before Sunrise through its focus on two characters over a small period of time.
Honest, raw and authentic; this film is a masterclass in storytelling.
A must for anyone interested in realistic cinema or observing the pleasures of falling in love. A classic in the making!

" It is a tender, humane film, with an easy, unforced cinematic language: a film that doesn't need to try too hard" Peter Bradshaw - The Guardian"
Sexy, provocative, engrossing and occasionally ornery, it should appeal to anyone whose curiosity about someone new has provoked them to question their own identity" Ben Walters - Time Out
"Weekend is one of the most impressive films ever made about love. Haigh's confidence and intelligence as a filmmaker, has resulted in a sincere and emotionally engaging film" Thomas Caldwell - Cinema Autopsy
