A Bucket of Blood (1959) - written by Charles B. Griffith, directed by Roger Corman, starring Dick Miller

Shot in five days as the result of a bet between Corman and the owners of AIP, this modest little tale-of-the-unexpected is just one example of the directors innovative approach to film production and probably the worlds first black-comedy-horror. Down-trodden busboy Walter Paisley (Dick Miller) is desperate to be accepted by the cool beatnik cafe crowd, he achieves his goal via the accidental stabbing of his landladies cat but maintaining his position within the pretentious art community leads to murder.
