Peter Thomson performs his one man show about the life of Bertolt Brecht.

Along the way he touches on his own life in theatre and politics, the financial meltdown of 2008, Taoism, finding his long lost mother, and the parallels between today's political situation and those of the past.

Brecht was a diligent student not only of marxism but of far eastern philosophy.  The combination of these two influences comes shining through many of his poems; of which Peter uses over 30 during the course of the show. 

With the rise of China as a global power in the 21st century this understanding takes on a new importance.  And he is a wonderful poet!
