Mon 2 March 2020 // 18:00 / Venue Space

Tickets: FREE

General Meetings are legally defined as the Sovereign Body or the Boss of the organisation where major decisions are made and polices are adopted.

Most issues can be sorted at our other meetings but some will need to go through the official process of a General Meeting.

Agenda items for a General Meeting must be circulated at least two weeks in advance of the GM to the volunteer email list. With back up explanations of what is going to be voted on.

They must also be proposed, described and debated at previous open and caretaking meetings and/or in working groups in advance of the 2 weeks notice going out.

Only co-op members (class 1 members) can vote at a General Meeting.

Examples of items that need GM approval might be:

Anything with major legal ramifications.

Anything with major financial ramifications.
