Hands - on film making workshop. Corn, Charcoal and Salt. A chance to try out various animation techniques inspired by Kentridge.
The workshop will tell an aspect of the narrative of the Newcastle's Corn Riots of 1740 using charcoal on paper and overhead projection with salt, using simple photographed stop motion in 2D.
The launch of a potential working group to make a short film for the Newcastle Corn Riots programme of community arts in summer 2020.
