We are planning to set up a community led housing project in or around Newcastle, possibly in Heaton. 

You are welcome to come along and find out how you can get involved. 

If you came to our first meeting a couple of weeks ago you are welcome to form a sub group and draw up plans for our next steps. These may include going to visit other projects that you feel we could learn from. You may also want to start to form sub groups that take on a specific task... such as finding suitable buildings/spaces or working out who we need to speak to to help us progress with our plans. 

We have some funding that can be used for travel and research. It is up to our members to decide how best to use this.

This project is for all who feel there are better ways to provide housing and workspace for those cultural creatives who currently struggle to access good quality secure and environmentally sound accommodation and workspace. We look forwards to meeting you and hearing your thoughts on how this project can develop and grow.
