Kurama Tengu is a classic outlaw folk hero, the Japanese Robin Hood. Kanjuro Arashi played him a dozen times from the silent era and on into the 60's. Tonight we meet the anti-hero in his earliest surviving adventure featuring the first twin sword display on film to the improvised sounds of Phallucitite. Including a short documentary about the Samurai relationship with their swords.
