During a 30 year career in Europe, Gregg was introduced to the joys of Community
Music via 10 years as musical director for Fanfare v.d. Eerste Liefdesnacht. He founded the seminal street band, Available Jelly and spent 6 years as a trombonist with the Willem Breuker Kollektief. During 10 years Portugal he has been credited with kickstarting a vibrant street band culture. 

Gregg was one of the  21 collaborators/writers of the book ' HONK! A Street Band Renaissance of Music and Activism' published in the beginning of 2020
