A night of poetry, music and film with a focus on the world’s poorest people.

The evening will see the launch of the Platform 2 poetry book, a chance to hear the empowering poetry from the exclusive ‘I am the Change’ poetry book performed by young people who travelled to developing countries with the Platform2 volunteering program.

Young British writers have been moved by their personal experiences of life in the developing world and will share their expressions on this night. Local artists will perform songs, and a series of short films produced by the Ctrl Alt Shift movement for change, will be screened between performances.

There will be an open mic slot for the performance of writing or music on the theme of global injustice.
