Back once again for another Sunday full of blessings. We welcome back former student radio collaborator and pal Lizzy aka DaisyDai aka Daisy Desu on the Midday Request line with a tribute to the great Queen Latifah. Not done there we are also delighted to have the Shiny Sample Segment back for the first time in 2022. Broadcasting live from the home studio we will also be reflecting on all the live music goodness in and around Newcastle that I have been digging in to this year. From local up and coming jazz bands Knats, to seeing Grove at Cobalt Studios amongst a super exciting programme there, then to Emma-Jean Thackray at the Sage and the re-emergence of the amazing Tusk North Festival this weekend and with gigs to follow at the Star & Shadow, there's lot to be excited about.
