lo-bit underground is an electronic music showcase event which platforms national and global musicians that specialise in using video game hardware to produce,compose and arrange their music, also known as "chiptune" or "chipmusic".divices like commodore 64 and gameboy are repurposed into the service of original high-impact electronic music and visuals, exploring technology's untapped potential of intrinsic characteristics.
for our second event we have two exclusive japanese guests who are aknowledged globally for their music, BSK and Maru, both from fukuoka in northern kyushu.
lo-bit underground are very proud to establish an association with the star and shadow cinema as both organisations exemplify diy culture at a grassroots level.
