A Mutual Aid project has been agreed by the S&S Co-op to provide a warm space and a free hot meal to volunteers and members of the community. This is not charity.

We need your support to make it happen!

As you know, times are hard: the energy price-cap has gone up 80% & RPI inflation is currently 14.5% and rising. State handouts aren't enough to prevent people going hungry, being cold or unable to afford the basics this winter. The Star & Shadow is in a position to help: we have a warm building, commercial kitchen and compassionate volunteers who thrive on giving solidarity and taking collective action.
