The Star and Shadow Cinema is run collectively by volunteers, using consensus. Consensus is widely regarded as one of the most empowering ways of making decisions in a group. At best, it allows people to come together as equals and find creative win:win solutions that everyone is happy with. However, it's not always easy!
The Star & Shadow and Seeds for Change present 2 workshops on consesnsus decision making and facilitation.
The first workshop, beginning at 12, will enable us to come to a deeper understanding of the politics and practicalities of consensus and how to put them into action.
The second workshop, at 2.30pm, will focus on developing the skills and tools you can use as a facilitator to make consensus meetings work.
Whatever experience of consensus you have had - good, bad, or non-existent, you are very welcome to come along and join in with these two workshops.

Lunch at 2.00pm!
All Welcome!
