An adaptation of J.G. Ballard's 1975 novel about the breakdown of society within a high-rise apartment complex.

Dr. Robert Laing (Tom Hiddleston) moves into a luxury high-rise seeking soulless anonymity. Life in the building begins to degenerate as grievances among neighbours result in violence and territorial battles with the lower and upper floors stratifying into distinct social groups.

The film contains violence, sex and strong language.
