The Bridge will be a celebration of hip hop culture and its impact. The event will be inter generational, covering all aspects of the movement from its foundation to contemporary innovators, exploring “the pillars” and their influence on music, art and dance. In addition to live performances, demos and jams there will be a series of workshops, seminars, screenings and talks giving attendees an opportunity to participate, learn and share.

The intention is to make the event as accessible as possible and we will be working with local schools and other groups to engage the community. The event is free to attend. Ticketing is in place for workshops.

In the Meeting room space between 11am and 3pm will be workshops including Lyric Writing with Drop Dead Fred and DJ Skills with DJ A.D.S, and Dance Workshop with Shell Toe Mel

Plus Art – with activities led by GOT (Girls On Top – international all girl street art collective)

Cafe will be open from 11am to 5pm selling sweet & savoury light bites, hot and cold drinks.
