"Omit the reference to the unspeakable vice of the Greeks."

From the screenwriter of Call Me By Your Name, based on the novel by EM Forster (never published in the author's own lifetime).

Maurice Hall (James Wilby) meets the handsome Clive Durham (Hugh Grant) at Cambridge. Their friendship soon turns into romance, but Clive is reluctant to make it sexual.

Maurice struggles with the relationship, his education and his own sexuality, before finally finding happiness in an unexpected place.

Also starring Rupert Graves and Simon Callow.

Like a gay Lady Chatterley's Lover meets Brideshead Revisited.
