2023 ACADEMY AWARD WINNER! (BEST SONG, 'NAATU NAATU')
'RRR isn't just one of the best films of the year - it's several of the best films of the year' -BBC
'The most evocative screen bromance since Butch and Sundance' -The Hollywood Reporter
Set in the 1920s and based loosely on two real-life resistance leaders, RRR tells the story of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju as they team up to fight the evil forces of the British Empire. While the historical Bheem and Rama Raju never met, RRR poses the question: what if they did? And what if they were best friends? What if they had fighting skills that defied the laws of physics? What if they could dance?
SS Rajamouli (Baahubali) serves up three hours of sheer, joyous spectacle: intricately choreographed action sequences; high drama; explosions galore; rampaging CGI tigers; musical numbers; and, of course, a dance battle.
Breaking box-office records in India and nominated for awards worldwide, RRR has also stoked controversy - from many points on the political spectrum - for its wildly inaccurate portrayals of Rama Raju and Bheem. Whatever your take might be, it’s well worth seeing - please join us for what might be your last chance to catch it on the big screen, where it belongs!
=== PLEASE NOTE: This film has a running time of over 3 hours and will include a 10 minute intermission, Indian cinema style! ===
