The Wicker Man (1973) returns to the Star and Shadow in May 2023. 

This time we encourage you to dress up in appropriate ritual apparel and belt Sumer Is Icumen In along with good Summerisle people. That's right, it's a Wicker Man sing-along!  You'll be provided with a little songbook full of fun facts about folk music and human sacrifice. 

Film screening time is 7.30pm.

The bar will be serving a signature cocktail "Not Your Damn Apples".

A photographer will be around on the night, and for a small extra donation of £3 (please bring cash), you will get a quality photo for yourself.

We have an animal mask-making workshop for 20 brave souls before the film from 6pm. Be a Salmon of Knowledge or a lovely March Hare, or maybe something altogether different! Pre-booking required, please add the mask-making ticket to your order when booking. Materials will be provided, a £2 donation for the Star and Shadow is encouraged.
