Calling all inducted volunteers! Would you like to learn more about Star & Shadow finances and get involved in a new working group to focus on fundraising and grantwriting? 

Join us for a presentation and meeting to discuss starting up this group - we will begin with an overview of our financial situation, breaking down where our money has come from and what it's been spent on over the past year. 

We will then have an open discussion about what a fundraising working group might look like: 

* What would the purpose be? 

* What sort of sources should we prioritise? (This could be grants, individual donors, sponsors, selling S&S merch, membership schemes, as well as income from events and bar sales.) 

* What is our capacity as volunteers to do fundraising work, especially to do the necessary reporting and analysis for funding bodies? 

* How do we build in transparency and make sure we are all on the same page about how money from funding bodies needs to be spent? 

We will also be holding a participatory budgeting session within the next few months - more details on this soon. 

Anyone can attend, but please sign up on the rota if you can so we will roughly know how many people are coming. (If the spots are filled, please come anyway!)
