A cult classic masterpiece that defies being put in to a single genre.  If you have not seen this film it would be outrageous for me to say too much about the plot.  Set in the 19^th century in the snowy regions of the American frontier.  A military outpost with a few misfits and dishonoured soldiers awakes one day to the arrival of an outsider played by the brilliant Robert Carlyle he needs help to rescue survivors of a party on his wagon train crossing the Sierra Nevada.  What follows is both horrific and amusing in equal quantities.
