In preperation for Alex MacKenzie's screening on the 11th August, we will be doing a darkroom workshop creating a collective black and white 16mm film. We will be using a technique called direct animation, which involves directly exposing imagery onto film with photo enlargers. The film that we make together out of these film strips made in the workshop will play before Alex's screening (SEE INFO HERE...)

This workshop is for cinema volunteers and free - please sign up on the rota. We will open up the workshop to other people if there is space. There is a further darkroom workshop open to the public happening on 12/08/23 (Link HERE....)
