Lez Pop returns to Star and Shadow with a special edition to celebrate our rising superstar FLETCHER and her tour coming to Newcastle on the 9th of May.

Almost a year has passed since FLETCHER caught the sapphic world (and beyond!) by storm with her explosive single Becky's So Hot, from her debut album Girl of My Dreams.

FLETCHER is an incredible singer-songwriter who is able to capture all of the sapphic feels via thumping tones, bold powerful vocals and extra frank lyrics.

The night won’t be a "FLETCHERgeddon"; we will simply let FLETCHER accompany us in an audiovisual journey of the darker side of Lez Pop before we enter the realm of her soul-searching sophomore album In Search Of The Antidote. 

Alongside FLETCHER, we will play hits from Hayley Kiyoko (aka Lesbian Jesus), MUNA, Dove Cameron, Syd, King Princess and many more!

For those seeking a more classic-sapphic vibe, we'll have a soothing mix playing in the foyer, featuring k.d. lang, Tracy Chapman, Melissa Etheridge, Brandi Carlile, Ani DiFranco, Dusty Springfield, Lesley Gore...

This is a queer event that welcomes everyone (aged 18+), regardless of how they identify.

The venue is wheelchair accessible, with accessible and gender-neutral toilets.

There will be screen projections and some gentle colored lighting. The sound levels in the venue will not exceed 107 dB(A). Ear protection will be available. The foyer will be used through the night as a breakout area with much lower sound levels.
