XR Tyneside are the local branch of Extinction Rebellion UK. Extinction Rebellion is an international movement that uses non-violent civil disobedience in an attempt to halt mass extinction and minimise the risk of social collapse.
The meeting runs from 12noon to 2pm. Cafe is open selling savoury and sweet food.
Come along to find others wanting to do something about the biggest crisis facing humankind!
It's a great first point of contact for new people, who will be welcomed into the group and supported to get involved.
There will be an opportunity to chat with other rebels and get involved in action planning and local events.
