In celebration of the release of Sean Baker’s Anora

Follow six-year-old Moonee as she courts mischief and adventure with her ragtag playmates and bonds with her rebellious but caring mother Halley, all while living in a budget motel in the shadows of Walt Disney World.

Sean Baker’s style of storytelling of show don’t tell leaves the viewer to know when to smile and when to cry.  This modern masterpiece has so much to say about living in in the shadow of the American dream, where those who are left behind are more and more left to fend for themselves.  All through the eyes of a little girl and the love between her and her young mother.
