It's time once again to celebrate a dead guy rising from the grave!

This year we're showing a real treat: the incredible 1974 Euro-horror cult classic The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue (also known under the titles Let Sleeping Corpses Lie, Don't Open the Window, and Do Not Profane the Sleep of the Dead)

On a trip to the Lake District, a group of hip young people get hassled by the cops and unwittingly involved in a multiple-murder case - which turns out to actually be the work of the living dead, resurrected by an experimental insect repellent developed by the Ministry of Agriculture. Soon all hell breaks loose and the corpses pile up, only to come back to life again and attack the living. With an amazing soundtrack, truly unsettling mood, and practical gore effects that still hold up, this is one not to be missed on the big screen.

Early doors at 6:30 - come early (and wear old clothes) if you'd like to join our volunteers in getting zombified before the film! We'll provide liquid latex and fake blood for those nasty flesh wounds, bring your own cream makeup if you'd like to do any other zombie effects. Film will start at 7:30.

Film rated 18 - unfortunately no-one under 18 can be admitted, sorry kids!
