Star and Shadow Cinema volunteers... Please come down to the Star and Shadow at 1pm on Sunday 19^th May  for a one hour creative practice focus group involving plasticine, Lego and imagining alternative futures for what the city of Newcastle might look like. I am a PhD researcher looking at the right to the city for women in Newcastle, and how the work of community organisations throughout the city can give women a sense of ownership over the city and address some of the many challenges that people marginalised by their gender experience in urban environments.
