BACKGROUND:

In May 2019 we held the 1st Shieldfield Community Cup. Ten teams popped up on the day, a huge range in age and ability, and about 100 spectators came out to watch, some bearing cakes... it was a fantastic event and many people said:

"When are ye doing this again, it's been reet canny!"

And this is the 6th one and still going strong.

Again, all ages, abilities and genders were welcome - whether a seasoned pro or excited novice. This time, Shieldfield’s volunteer run Forum Café teamed up with The Star & Shadow Cinema kitchen to provide warm and cold refreshments on the day.

So, whether you are dusting off your boots or rustling up some chants to cheer on the players we look forward to seeing you there!
