Video Production Workshop – Part 5: Watch Party

Saturday, 14th December, 4 pm – 7 pm

In the final session of our Video Production Workshop, we’ll come together to view the short film we created as a group: a docu-fiction that captures the spirit of the Star and Shadow Cinema. We’ll also watch videos and films submitted by workshop participants, creating a unique opportunity for sharing work and connecting with others in the community.

During this watch party, we’ll discuss each step we took to bring our short film to life, from ideation to post-production, sharing insights into the creative process. You don’t need to have attended previous sessions to join us—everyone is welcome!

Submit Your Work

Workshop participants are encouraged to bring one or more of their own films to showcase, whether completed projects or works-in-progress, for a chance to present and network.

Important Information:

• CONFIRM YOUR ATTENDANCE: You will receive an email requesting your attendance confirmation, which you must reply to to secure your spot.
• SUBMIT YOUR VIDEOS OR FILMS: You can submit your videos or films through the registration form. However, please be aware that not all submissions may be shown due to time constraints, submission volume, video length, and subject matter. If your video is selected to be shown (or not) at the watch party, you’ll receive a confirmation message before the session.
• SPACE IS LIMITED, first-come, first-served. Priority will be given to Star and Shadow volunteers who attended previous sessions. A waiting list will be in place if the workshop fills up, with volunteers being called first as spots open. This workshop is for adults only (18+).
