In collaboration with Culture Lab (Newcastle University) wildpop 2025 brings together artists, performers and writers to make a noise (in the broadest sense) around the extent to which our cultural consumption is regulated by corporate interests in ways insured to keep us feeling powerless to stop their absolute colonisation of all humanity.

Following an afternoon of presentations and discucssion in the Star & Shadow Café, and a morning of conference presentations at Cuture Lab, Friday evening's programme features performances from Elaine Mitchener & Loré Lixenberg, Dina Kelberman, People Like Us and YEAH YOU, with DJ Kenosist weave the sequence together with their customary array of sounds.
