Star and Shadow's resident techno night, Municipal, ends the year with a return to the shadowy intersection where techno intertwines with the various sub-genres of post-punk.

From his formative years as a mainstay on Hell’s legendary Gigolos imprint, to later transmissions on Ostgut Ton and Mute Records, Terence Fixmer has been a stalwart of techno for over twenty years.

An-i (aka Doug Lee) conjures gristly body music and is a regular fixture on L.I.E.S. and Cititrax. His live performances are bruising rituals — where the skeletal pulse of techno collides with the chaos of noise, and his fed back vocals teeter just shy of total disintegration.
