Free and sociable writing group, composed of beginners and pros alike! We convene in the spirit of:
> sharing writing prompts
> sharing ideas
> reading out independent writing to the group
> sharing thoughtful feedback with peers
> learning from guest workshops
> recommending good things to read
> group meditation
> group writing exercises
> telling stories
Only material needed is a phone or notepad for writing. In keeping with Star and Shadow's ethos, we maintain a welcoming, beginner-friendly, accessible, safe space. The content of each week varies. If you're curious, please come along – there is no pressure to participate.
When? Sundays 2pm - 4pm. Please arrive in time for 2pm start, we'll have breaks throughout.
Where? Star and Shadow cinema space. Sometimes, we will meet in the venue space or green room, depending on the number of attendees. Ask at the cafe when you arrive.
