Hels Pattison is a Newcastle based artist blending contemporary indie rock with traditional country soul. Heartfelt, relatable lyrics and ethereal vocals make her a standout artist.

Hels’ debut EP was released on the 17th January, capturing far reaching influences, from Phoebe Bridgers to Mary Chapin Carpenter. Throughout, Hels’ personable and honest songwriting is the stand out feature of the release, which carries into her live performances. Her single ‘On the Horizon’ was praised by Shakk - BBC introducing as “powerful, dramatic and honestly magnificent”. Amelia Neri from NARC magazine wrote “Hels has mastered the art of making music that is campy, hard-hitting and relatable”.

Having recently packed ‘The Grove’ with her band, sold out ‘The Lost Wanderer’ and played local festivals such as ‘This is South Tyneside Festival” and ‘Last Train Home’, Hels is gaining a strong North East following and has been praised by local magazines and radio as one to watch!
